In his other life, Jim is

• an avid black and white photographer,
• squash enthusiast at the Printing House Squash Club and participating in the Gay Games,
• father of an amazing 25 year old daughter who just completed a 16 month tour in animal conservation for the Smithsonian in South Africa working with wild dogs; and currently studying wildlife conservation/ecology at Columbia University before going for her Masters,
• volunteer peer counselor and group facilitator at Identity House for the Gay, Lesbian and Transgender and Bisexual community,
• member of The LGBT Center, Out Professionals, Lambda Legal Defense, GLAAD and the Human Rights Campaign.
